Recommended lift?
I am a noob, help me out here please?
I have an 02 Ranger Edge. Sittin in the garage i have 33'' All Terrains with 16x10.5's.
I am looking for a RELIABLE suspension lift. NO BODY LIFT
I have also been reading on here about T-Bar cranks. I am clueless how to go about all this.
what would be the best reliable way to go about lifting my truck.
What is a good Brand? and is a 3 inch lift going to do the trick?
any help on this would be great.

The only lift made for your truck anymore is the Superlift. Well and the body lift lol. A 3" body lift you will fit them great. Body lifts these days are a lot better than the old ones they come with everything you need its not a ghetto'd up job and they are functional. I would go that route..

your only option for suspinson is a spindle lift you will need this
Fabtech Motorsports Ford Ranger 2WD Suspension Kits
scroll to the very bottom of the page the ones on the top are for coilsprung 2wd's and will not work on your truck
and/or you can crank your t-bars

I'm not sure why your friend had a problem with a body lift, other than improper installation or a bad kit, I have no idea. I ran one on my Wrangler for 3 years along with a 3" suspension lift and had no issues.
If you get a BL, go with the Performance Accessories one. Think about it like this...your truck cab sits on something like 6 body mounts currently...after the body lift, it still is sitting on the same 6 body mounts. Same with the bed...But on the part where the bed would be touching the frame with no mount, they use crush blocks that you're supposed to weld into place.
The only difference is the bolt and the mount itself is just 3 inches longer.
