Rcd

So i now have my mind made up i want the RCD lift.

Where has been the cheapest place you guys have found?
Im installing it my self with the help of a few buddy's who have built and SAS's rock crawlers so it shouldn't take us to long.

Last question,

What tire size and gear ratio should i run with all this lift?

Thanks Guys!

I say SAS it if you have the know how.

with the RCD you can run 33's or 34's. 35's if you have or get a BL. as for the gearing we would need to know what motor you have.

s-e-a-r-c-h

4.10/4.56/4.88
33s w/o a body lift
35s w/ a body lift

of course you can run 35s with just the lift
or you can run 34s, or w/ a BL you can run 34-37s

its all personal preferance.

looks like a newer truck, maybe he doesn't want to lose the warranty? but yea, unless its gonna be a street queen, and you don't care about your warranty, then SAS it

It has to be from the same year or newer, Ryan did some research on it a month ago. The VINs from the engine and the truck don't have to match either. As long as you keep all the emissions stuff your fine. Here's the link:

Or if you truck is older than 10 years you don't need emissions and will pass.

I don't know for sure. I think that part is the same everywhere. I could be wrong though. But I know for a fact it is in NY. Same reason that vehicles over 10 years dont need to even be hooked up to the computer for the inspection.

I could be wrong about the other states though.

yea..

and if your asking 'do i need a new tranny' your probably not ready for it, unless you have another car to drive while your truck is down.

Rocky mountain suspension was the cheapest I found. But that's when it was on sale, sale ended Sept. 30.

Good luck with it. It's a kick *** kit!!
