Icon5 RCD coils and bumpstops?

After the weekend my truck had I think the coils are officially beatdown, the uca's are angled up and the front of the truck is way down.

I know this has been covered and I've searched through plenty of threads on "fixing" the RCD. But I still have a few questions.

I'll probably go with 750# coils. But was wondering where would be the cheapest place to get a set of hypercoils?? This is the cheapest I've found so far.

http://www.eshocks.com/hyp_ind.asp?S...=2Q1&SubChar=Q

Anyone know of a cheaper place?

Now on with the bumpstops, I squashed mine pretty good this weekend. The metal cup on the stock bumpstops beat the hell out of lca's. What's the best place to get a good all-rubber bumpstop that would work for my setup?

I've seen some at autozone and summit that would work, just wanting some opinions maybe some links.

Thanks.

Energy Suspension for the bumpstops. I have bumpstop part# 9.9116 which I think is perfect, but I've also seen a couple ppl run the pancake bumpstops, part# 9.9132

http://www.energysuspension.com/pages/bsp2.html

Here's a pic of where you can see my bumpstop.

Well I'm running the 750's from this place:

http://store01.prostores.com/servlet...gs:12in+Length

Turns out they're close to me but I still bought em and had them shipped. I think I ended up paying $120 over the phone to him and got them in a week or so.

I didn't have the tools to install them so I had the place that did my lift do them for like another $100 or so. I noticed a huge difference too. Rides much better IMO and it's taller in the front. Way stiffer.

I would have gone with 800's though. So Matt, do 800's.

The only things wrong with RCD:

Diff pinion angle bracket
Front shaft (supposedly)
Coil Sag

I was looking at those pancake ones but was thinking the lca would hit the RCD bracket before the bumpstop. I think going with a taller one like you did is a good idea.

How long are your limit straps? Do you really think it needs them?

Thanks.

I don't have straps. I don't think you need them. I also have my sway bar connected too though.

Just out of curiosity, Trevor, how are you doing with your ball joints? have you had to replace them since you lifted your truck?

I thought about 800's with the bumper and winch I've got. I just don't want it to be too stiff. "Ranger" has the 800's and says they ride like a brick.

Gumby came up with this.

Good question.

Here are some pics for ***** and giggles.

Ate the paint up and bent up the bumpstop a little. These are the bumpstops I cut in half.

My limit straps are 10" long and have the adjustable clevis on the LCA end. I don't think they're totally necessary, but it keeps the UCA from hitting the coilover at full droop. It just makes me feel more comfortable knowing they're in there.

Have you had any problems with that? I really want to lose mine, I always hit the metal cup anyway.

I'm gonna order the 750's right now, the rubbing tonight was horrible. There was only so much more I could crank them down. Might as well get some bumpstops too.

Thanks for the help.
