Rear end Lowering

I was thinking of taking out the stock blocks from the factory and not having any at all and kinda having a prerunner truck lookalike. Anyone have any ideas?? Think it will look stupid??

what kind of truck do you have -- you can lower the front as well..depends on what you have upfront..

a lot of people remove the rear blocks. I think it would look kinda goofy if its stock and sitting low..not much of a prerunner look just not level and small tires..but i dunno what you got..so it might be nice

put alot of weight in the bed to make it sit low then you should be able to tell if you wanna go thru all that work just to find out you don't like it lower in the rear just a thought lol

Always thought the low butt look was dumb unless it was useful travel going on

why drop back, just crank up the torsion bars a bit and see what it looks like,

you should be able to get about 2 inches in the front, about the same as removing the blocks, and keep the usable travel the suspension would have in the back,

ive thought about something similar. but going to maybe a 1" block or something instead my bars are near cranked all the way and the truck barely sits level. i can only imagine in another year or so after it sags ill have the same stock looking rake

Unless you're making a prerunner and are going to use the truck as just that........I say GIV'R.

If it's going to be a mall crawler......I say, OUCH. Don't do it. It's a dumb look.

if you were to do it, id say flip the shackle hangers, and keep the blocks, you get 2 inches lower in the back and gain some travel, if you have the right shocks i mean. i havent done it to my truck yet but im thinking about doing in the next couple months or so.

I've done it and levelled it with the torsion bars. Back end is two inches lower and the front is one inch lower from stock.
