Rear lift questions

Well I cranked my Tbars and got about and inch and a half out of them and so now I would like to lift the back so I can decide what size tires to get. Whats my best way to do it? I have looked at a 1 1/2" block and I have seen shackles. Whats the easiest and best result way to do it? I would really like to fit 285s but I hate the look of a stuffed tire. I think this should cover it but I really dont know.
Thanks!!

Shackels or blocks are way easy. It's just like buttering a piece of bread........but prob the easiiiiessssttt would be blocks.....

I gotta go with shackles on this one since your truck probably already has blocks from the factory, and stacking them is a very bad idea. If you decided to go with blocks though, you would need to remove the stock one, and put in a 3.5 lift block to get the truck where you wanted it.

Doesnt your exhaust exit at a 45* under the springs?

If so really your only option is a 3.5" block. the shackle will drop the back half of the spring and hit your exhaust.

Stock Block is 2.5"

If you want another inch you will need some 3.5" blocks (ill find a link)

btw you will need new Ubolts for this. (longer ones)

here is a link

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

please call them and make sure they will work with your 28 spline axle tube, since these come with Ubolts already. Axle tube is 2.75" in diameter.
also make sure the block width is 2.5"
