Rear Springs with a Superlift

I spent a few hours last night trying to figure out what type of rear lift springs ya'll were using with your superlift. I've got an 8.8, and blocks right now (3in) and have ungodly amounts of axle wrap. I would like to get rid of the block all-together, and just run the springs. Shackles are out of the quesation due to the fact where my exhaust is routed...I saw alot of post's about skyjacker springs and chebbies...but how much of a lift rear spring do I need to level the truck with stock shackles and no blocks?

Thanks

you can run chevy Pro comp lifts springs the 3.5" with a shackle, or you can try without. but it may not be enough lift.

summit racing part number 13211

or you can run skyjacker springs. i think if you have the superlift and want to run the stock blocks you need the 4" lift ones.

if you want to get rid of all the blocks run the 6" lift ones.

well I'd like to get rid of the blocks all together....how do you think the ride would be with 6" lift skyjacker springs with stock shackles?

i heard they ride pretty good.

i still think you will have issues with your exhaust, right now your springs are pretty flat? the 6" one will have a bunch of arch on them.

axle bouncing all over when on the gas hard. pinion angle changes, rear tire just goes everywhere. hard to keep power planted.

Best example I've seen of axle wrap is this.

holy god that looks like everything is braking lol.. Does not look healthy at all.. now is that just from a normal start? or just when you hit the gas really hard? does it affect wheeling abilities?
