the rear suspension on my truck squeaks when i go over a semi-large bump. Is it possible that its just the strut and maybe a little wd-40 would cure it? I like to hear my exhaust and that little squeak is driving me nuts lol

 

Prob the little rubber piece that goes between the leafs fell out. Not an issue of any just makes that squeaky noise. I have noticed alot of rangers have that noise lol.

 

Mine squeaks, but my dad said it was just normal truck suspension noises.

 

^^ditto, the traction bars made it a little worse in my case tho. I just need to get new leaf springs.

 

i have fought my squeeks for a long time now...ive lubed literally everything but it eventually comes back

 

yeah i sprayed my leafs down with wd-40 and it was gone for a week or so, maybe some lithium grease would last longer.

 

mine has done it since the truck was 6 months old... i dont hear it anymore

 

in the winter my squeeks go away.. but in the spring and summer, with the windows down, it returns, lol. it annoys the hell out of me. i was wondering if there was anything to get rid of it, but i guess all i can do is keep greasing stuff up

I kinda like it when i'm going slow offroad... it feels like I'm doing something cool when i driving over bumps in my "terraced" driveway.

 

Its all about the skyjacker leafs with the teflon wear pad...squeekless!
