I have 2 Rangers, a 4.0 Super Cab with all options and a 4 banger 5spd base Super Cab.

The 4.0 handles superbly and the base truck is far far behind.
The 4.0 has an 8.8 rear with a factory sway bar.

Will the sway bar from a 4.0 fit the smaller rear end that is in the base truck?

Did the Rangers with the smaller rear ever come with a rear sway bar?

Thinking about making a junk yard trip and looking for one.

Any info is appreciated...

 

yes 4x4 off road packages with a 7.5 rear end had rear swaybars
idk if the 8.8 one will fit

 

I got a kit for upgraded front and stock rear (since i didn't have a factory rear) google roush ranger sway bar and the kit comes up they are discontinued and some shop in california bought the remaining stock i think i paid $80 for both and it's a great upgrade for the front to.
