Coilover Conversion ?'s

Hey guys, so i have been thinking about how i want to get rid of my dam tbars, and i have heard some chatter(and used the search function) about a coilover conversion.

now, the thread i read was about a year old, and not very to the point.. lots of excess **** that i dont want to read through...

soo.. to the guys that have a superlift with coilovers, could you give me some info? Is it worth it?

What all do i need?

Which coilovers/shocks should i go with?

And some people dont like the ride of an SAS or all the conversions that have to be done and he already has a superlift.. so now your saying scrap a lift and spend another 2 - 3k on a lift.. thats kinda $$$$...

if done properly there's nothing wrong with the ride of a sas'd truck.

Did you miss the part about him not having a welder lol, you kind of need one of those for a SAS. And minus it costing a couple thousand dollars

The coils you'll need are I believe 2.5 ID x 12"....750 is what alot of folks upgrade to on their RCD.

The upper bracket can be fabbed if someone you know has access to a welder...or PM TrePaul86...he made some really nice beefier than RCD upper mounts. Lowers: I plan on making a bolt on bracket using channel stock.

cause it costs multiple times what the conversion does.. and takes a ton more time.

plus once you do that you can't haul quite as much ***
