I tried researching this topic before askin, and i cant find the specific answers im looking for. maybe theyre there and im just an idiot. thanks in advance for the info and sorry in advance if i missed the thread and wasted ur time reading this.

IMO, I would start calling shops in your area. It is going to vary from county to county and state to state.

yeah i guess ill have to when i get back stateside. i looked around on RPS for info too and some guy was talkin about 5 grand plus. if i wouldve know about torsion bars before i bought the truck i never would got a sport. but ive never owned a ford or lowered a truck, so the joke was on me.

i thought about crankin the tbars down but i do a lot of drivin and i dont want the rest of the suspension to suffer.

it's not just the sports that are torsion barred. they started it in the early 2000's i belive.

the 08's are lower then the previous years. there is a thread above this one (maybe sticky'd) explaining the difference with the bars and keys. you could see about getting the 2wd, xl 4 banger torsion bars. that might lower you. but i'm not sure. read that post. it might help you translate the door jamb sticker on your truck.

i think he wasnts to lower it since he asked about bags. why would a person put a long travel susp. on a slammed truck?
