Rough Ride

I've got an '04 Level II with 43000 miles and the stock Bilsteins on it. It's got the stock 15" wheels with the 31-10.5 tires.

It rides absolutely horrible on the street.

Could my shocks be worn out already? Something else? Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks. Great forums, by the way.

what kind of ride is it. Is it jaring or is really soft and bouncing you all over the place.

East Berlin eh? You're just ten minutes up the road from me. If you've got a weekend free, I can meet up with you and check it out.

Do you have stock size tires, if so you should rely on the above answers, if not you should go with the rating on the tire. I run larger than stock 265-70-R16 Yokohoma A/t with 35 psi any less and the sidewall sinks, and gas mileage hurts. The EDGE model has a harder suspension than the old coils, I don’t think there is much you can do about it, check to see if your shocks have any signs of leaking, I have heard than ford only designs the stock shock to last 30K miles, but im at 60k and they seem used but not dead.
