Hi to all for some time I have been working on my Ranger Splash 3.0 1995 2wd, which was bone stock until recently.

I own the truck for several years, bur after moving to a countryside I drive every day to work on a very bad dirt road and the lower suspension on my truck wasn't doing very good.

I do my research and ended up replacing the springs with skyjacker 132x, also put camber-caster adjuster bushings and put belltech 6400 rear shackles. finally new Gabriel ultra shocks (the only one available locally).

I was able to adjust the caster and camber. truck now has the needed grown clearance and more that enough suspension travel.

Body mounting, control arms away bushings are OK. Ball joints are ok. Tire pressure is 35 psi.

Its almost a year now, and the ride was never smooth but now is terrible, I separate form the seat on every bump like there is no suspension at all, and I can feel some high frequency vibration after a hard hit, it´s like the metal chassis is bending form the bumps and springing back (not sure thou). on the street the ride stiff but decent, also speeds bumps handles well and I can feel the suspension doing its travel.

I suspects the shocks are my trouble, i remove them and bounce the front end to see if the springs were too stiff but I was able to bounce just right.

I can compress the shocks with the weight of my body, I notice one shock more stiff that the other, also the softer shock had destroyed its upper rubber bushing.

Is there anything else I should need to check before I hit the trigger on new shocks? now I will have to import some other brand shock from internet and it will cost a lot of $$$ even if they aren't that expensive. there is no point asking on brands or model as I already read a lot of post about that and seems to favor Blinstein.
