Shackles plus T-Bars

I am thinking of getting 2" Chevy drop shackles and heard from Aaron (red AK ranger) that you can't crank the stock XLT T-bars enough to level it out. Is this true?

Also which is better Cranking the T-bars or using these?

All those keys do is allow you to crank the t-bars past there factory settings there by deleting all downward wheel travel. They also wear out suspension components rather fast, especially the cv's and the ball joints.

Just crank the bars or get #1 rated t-bars, if you don't already have them.

Look on you door tag under SPR, it will say 1, B, or F. You probably have the B rated bars. Last time I checked the dealer had the pair for about $100.

Jack up the truck and try it out, mine leveled out just by cranking the bars.

Can I level the truck with shackles and my stock "B" T-bars. I know I can level it with a stock rear end, but thats not what I need to know.

No, the back will be higher. The ride will be bad with the t-bars fully cranked anyway.

The #1 bars will raise up the front about 1.5 to 2 inches. I don't know how much lift you'll get ot of the shackles.

So I guess the answer would be yes, If you change the bars- and crank them
