shocks

what kind of shocks are you guys running?

I'm looking for some stiffer ones, because my stock ones are shot.

I have a 98 2wd automatic.

also, my truck has a lot of give side to side, I was thinking about replacing the sway bar bushings, would that sound right?

I have kyb monomax shocks and they work awesome I recommend them if you want stiffness or do alot of towing

Rather than start a new thread.......I too am looking for shocks for the rear of my 99 2wd. Would stiffer shocks make the truck stay more level when youre carrying stuff in the box, or just give it a rougher ride? Or would i be better off going with air shocks? Mostly carrying tools...maybe 500lbs max

thanks for the responses guys.. I was looking at shock warehouse, and they only have the monomax's for the rear which are about 120 for the pair.. I was going to order them, but idk how it'd be with different shocks in the back.. the max I'll be hauling in the back is 400-500 pounds.. and occasionally pulling a single axle box trailer or boat. I was looking into the gasadjust for the front.. but I'm not really good at deciding.. my options for the rear are: monomax, gasajust, or gr2 (all 3 of those are KYB, and so are the next few).. my options for the front are: gr2, and gasajust. input please? (:
