Lifting questions

I am new to this site. I bought my Ranger within the last couple of months. It is a 2000 4x4 XLT Off Road package. I want to get a lift, but I don't know which type (body or susp) is going to be better. I only go mud-runnin, not really off-roadin. I was told Rangers flip more easily with a suspension lift, but I don't know if it is true. Money is kinda tight, but not too much of an issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

If money is an issue then go with a body lift, if its not then go with suspension. There have been alot of discussions on this in the past. Check out some of the trucks in the showroom and you will find alot of lifts that have been installed previously as well as the search button will be very useful to you in the future.

Welcome to the site BTW.

Any car is more prone to rolling by raising the center of gravity.

Ditto ^^^ B/L is alot cheaper. Does good too.

Hey thanks for the fast input. Next question: Which body lift? I don't want to screw it up because it'll cost more in the long run.

Hey welcome to the site!! Sweet!! Another OHV to the family...lol.....ive been trying to decide whether to go body lift or not for a long time. post some pictures sometime!
Youd probably be happy with the body lift, you can throw some 33x12.50s on it after that

If you air down a lot, you'll be blessing those 15x8's as they'll hold the bead better...

Hey thanks for the info guys. This site has helped me out a lot. I'll post some picks of my Ranger now, and then later when the body lift is done.

Ditto, but remember jon, 10" wide isn't as "cool" as 8" rims.

I have 38x12.50's on 8" wheels.
