so i was wondering how long do stock shocks last and when i get some new ones what is the best... and best priced... i have heard good things about rancho but i really dont know anything about shocks so school me please :D

Stock shocks last a long time. Mine have been abused for 40k miles and are still going strong.

Ask 12 different rednecks what kind of shocks they like and you'll get 12 different answers. Its up to you.

The shadetree mechanics test for shocks:

Stand or put all your weight on a bumper, and jump up and down a few times to get the truck moving. Jump off, and if the truck bounces more than 2 more times, the shocks are getting worn. Check both front and rear.

You got BFG A/Ts i'd get Bilsteins to get an FX4 combo.
