bilstiens are very good, but i like the Explorer Pro comps as well, much cheaper. there are 3 series, 1000, 3000, and 9000 each series gets stiffer as you go up, and more expensive. all of them are between $30-40 each. i had 9000s on mine and they were a little too stiff for my taste, i would go with the 3000

I'm using Rancho RSX's. They have plus and minus's. The on-road ride can be a little stiff in the rear -- but the control is mostly marvelous and body roll on hard cornering has improved drastically.

Off-road they are EXCELLENT and allow me to really pound around without a lot of bouncing. I can't believe the difference they made offroad and they are better onroad than most stiffer shocks because of the "automatic" valving change they go through. I'd buy them again, especially for what I got them for on one of Rancho's "buy 3 get 1 free" sales.
