Shocks & coil springs

Replacing front coil springs and front shocks.
1995 Ranger 2.3, XLT
I just use it for general use. I'm not sure how good of shocks, and springs I should get?
Was thinking of getting them on Rockauto.
Any, thoughts, ideas, or suggestions?

Also, is a XLT, the same as the name "Super Cab"?

If you go cheap on shocks, you're gonna feel it. When it comes to RockAuto, Economy and Daily Driver are gonna be your bottom level shocks.

Supercab is the term Ford used for the extended cab trucks. These trucks are sometimes heavier and that's why some listings may denote Supercab, because the shocks are built to withstand the extra weight of the Supercab truck.

So, use the heavy duty ones?

If you have a Supercab, use the ones meant for a Supercab.

After having 2 different sets of shocks on my 2003 Ranger XL, long bed regular cab over the years and 275K miles I ended up purchasing and installing Bilstein shocks and can't complain.
