Should i be concerned?
Hey guys, well today i am finishing my Body lift, gunna leave in about 15 min. I have a few questions.. Do i need to be worried about the brake lines and what not? the cab is already lifted, and everything seems intact.. But im worried that when i take it off-road or it flexes at all that something is going to snap.. Should i be worried?
thanks! |
nah....you've got the little Z shaped brackets that came with the superlift to drop the caliper line down...everything else should be a-okay.

gotcha.. Thanks.. there was one point that the directions wanted me to 'bend' this really thick line( not sure what it was) but it was right next to the fuel line, and i couldnt bend it withough messing with the fuel line, so i was like F that lol..
hopefully everything goes smoothley today and i can get this damn thing finished! |
I sorta tweaked the lines out a little as you should as in the instructions. But alot of that doesn't need touched...some of the lines on mine I left unhooked from their little router plastic alignment thingys on the frame. lol.

Yeah - I never needed to do any bending at all on my own lift - the only thing you MUST do is install the bracket to keep that coolant hose away from the front fan, and of course dropping down ground extensions and crud like that =)

yeah, i never could find the dam firewall ground strap.. Still cant find it, ran my hand across the entire firewall.. no ground strap...
UPDATE!!!!!! Well, got the rear bumper off, radiator hooked back up and brackets in place, and started her up.. SHe runs!!!! except the ABS light is on... any ideas? oh and the coolant hose, which bracket do i use.. the instructions suck.. |
