ok i have a somehow broken a leaf in each of my stock leaf packs so i am going to upgrade and get some quality springs for the rear... now my question is should i get the skyjacker springs or deavers? while i am at it i am going to get some new t-bars since mine are pretty saggy...

 

for what you use your truck for, get the Skyjackers. You don't wheel, Deavers would be a waste of money and they don't give you the lift that the Skyjackers do.

 

im not sure but i would get the skyjackers because i think they are stiffer and if you cary any weight in the bed you will be glad you didnt get the deavers because i believe they are really soft but im not 100% sure
let me know how the t bars work out because i need to replace mine as well

 

the Skyjackers are not all that stiff. When installed them in my Ranger, the ride was better than stock ever thought about being.

 

get some A t-bars and some skyjacker lift leafs so you can remove the block in the rear.

 

you mean some #1 t-bars I assume since they are the strongest?

If you need 4" of lift in the rear, get the FR36 springs (6" of front lift). If you need 2" of rear lift, get the FR-34 spring (4" of front lift). Those will let you remove the blocks.

If you haul anything more than 300 lbs you will regret getting deavers. If you don't haul stuff you cant beat them. I absolutely love mine.

BTW I got a lot more lift than the 2.5" they claim they give you. Not sure why though.

maybe their lift is for a supercab. The short bed regular cabs weight a lot less than the supercab.

hey maurice did you do any towing when you had your old truck?

 

yea I towed a trailer with 2 atv's and it didnt squat at all.

 

I also have Deavers, on an extended cab truck. Right now it is way higher than I expected and not all that soft. They are only a month old, I don't know how much they will soften up.

DO NOT get Deavers if you plan to tow/haul. I had them, but got rid of them when the truck became our hauling/work vehicle, not offroad vehicle.
I had 300 lbs in the back and I was bottoming out.
That said, they were GREAT offroad, but that's it. Not good for a "work" truck.

this is completely incorrect. Alcans are made on a PER ORDER BASIS. you specify weight size style and your intended application.
