Steering Rack Variations. Which One??

Hello!!
I have a 2004 Ranger XLT 4X4 w/ 4.0V6. Steering boot is leaking and either looking to replace it with a good aftermarket or OEM.

The OEM part number thats specified for my truck is:
1L5Z-3504-EARM (which is discontinued)
There's also: 1L5Z-3504-CARM and 1L5Z-3504-DARM.

Does anyone know what the letter acronym are designating? Or can these parts be interchanged?
Aside from obvious like 2WD, 4cyl, 3.0 or 4.0.

Aftermarket seems to be one size fits all.
While where here...any good brands of steering racks out there? I'd like to do this job once.

Thanks!
