Opinions on James Duff Traction Bars

I was wondering if anyone out there has the James Duff traction bars installed on their Ranger and if so do they like them? They are listed on the website for 99.95 plus shipping and I was looking at getting a set for my truck. Any reviews/opinions would be appreciated! -tim

They're awesome! Being lifted they really keep the wheel hop down.

I love mine. They're awesome on and off the road from what i've noticed. When you lose traction off road, the rear wont bounce around as much as without them, same with snow i've noticed increased grip this past winter.
On pavement, it decreases how much the front of your truck dips when braking, seems to take off faster, and easier to light up the tires lol

Thanks guys! One more question. Did you have to change the size of the u-bolts you use? As in do you need more threading at all? I have a 2003 Fx4 Level II, so I know the u-bolts I will have to get will be different than the standard ones, but wasn't quite sure of the size or where the best place to get them is? Thanks!!

Yeah you'll want longer u-bolts for sure, I had to get some made when I installed mine. I went to a local spring shop and they made em to the specs i wanted in 5 minutes.

Alright awesome. Thanks for the help!

One more thing totally off topic haha. Who did you use to re-build your supercharger when you were thinking of installing it?

No problem. I went with the same guy that built zabeards 5.4L, his name is Nick but he hasn't been on this forum in years lol
