pics of rancho rs5000 install

well Mike (sonic04edge) came over and we installed his new Rancho RS5000 shocks. We started to run outta some light there at the end!!





Yes i wear my sunglasses at night!!LOL!!!

i knew you were from the south in the first picture with the fabulous red mud! then the second pic i saw the bama plate...how they ride?

Yeah how do they ride Mike? I need new shocks bad, 74k on the stockers isn't good anymore lol

dont want to sound dumb but why did you need to jack up your truck to change the rear shocks? i did mine with it on the ground...did i do it the hard way?

the fronts would be easier.

there's no need to on the back

do you like them i have Monroe and i wish i would of gone with something better.

Yeah "I" spent about 6 hrs today pressure washing under BOTH trucks today! I think we got it all out. I was soakin wet hips to feet. I was all but under'em cleanin'em. It may be awhile again before we get'em that dirty again. IT SUCKS CLEANIN'EM!!!!! Me and mike got the trucks cleaned up good taday and gave them both good baths! Today was de-mudding day..LOL!!!!

just lift it.. the more you lift it the easier it is to clean the bottom... and the harder it gets to clean the hood

They ride good. A bit firmer then I thought they would be, but still comfortable on the road. I think I was just so use to my "lack" of shocks lol. At 71k they were beyond toast. I would definitely suggest them. I love them!

I have those shocks on the front and I think they ride like ***. But maybe they are better on yours.

They definitely ride firm, but on the road they are great. Kinda bumpy when offroading, but a hell of a lot better then stock. It might help I have a bit more weight on them.

They are a stiff shock. I have them on my truck.

Trent, Monroe has alota options out. They have a Sensa track that is good for towing or hauling weight in the bed, or they have a Gas magnum that is a good truck shock. I prefer Sensa Track or there new replacement, Reflex shocks.

Never tried Blistiens myself. They have diffrent quality ones, depends which ones you get.

Its between KYB Monomax and the Bilstein HDs for me.

There freakin awsome!!!! trent i noticed advanced or maybe it was auto zone carried the KYB and they had some that were gas adjustable. I believe it was the Gr-2.

I have the sensa tracks in the rear. They ride like crap unless you have weight in the bed. Very bouncing on road and will throw you threw the windshield off road. Im upgrading next month.

Yeah they do suck with no weight. But with weight they are the best shock EVER!!
