Front Spring/dampener mount

Is there any where I can buy new mounts for the springs and dampeners? Mine are really rusted, and I'm hoping to be able to bolt some new ones on before they snap. Its the bracket piece that the top of the spring fits on. And its a 1992 with a 2.3L

go to your ford dealership and use your vehicle VIN# to buy some new mounts

I went in there today and he said they are obsolete and they aren't selling them anymore and can't get them.

Damn..still nothing. It might be called the upper spring mount bracket? My buddy had a few rangers and said they all rust out. I know I have to cut the rivets off, and then put new hardware to mount it in.

I was even thinking maybe weld in some kind of brace to prevent flex, and then use a rust stop treatment and encapsulate the entire thing in POR or eastwood stuff?

Checked. They say order from the dealer. I just went down to a junkyard today and found 2 in perfect shape. 5 a piece and 150 to burn off the rivets, done deal!
