Post 2002 Ranger XLT 4x2 newbie

I’m looking to put 31” tires on my Ranger, will I need a lift or leveling kit? Not looking for a lifted look, more of a bulky look but also don’t want to run into problems when turning. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum

31" tires "may" rub front fenders when turning, will need to trim them if so
Just going down the road straight it will be OK, problem is 31" tire width and current suspension ride height, suspension does "settle" over the years, so you do not have New 2002 Ranger 2WD XLT ride height in 2021

30" wouldn't be an issue, so that 1/2" can matter in current situation, you are there we are not, lol
