zach i still cant believe that you were taller than him on 35's.....i think have the bl with the sl makes it worth it, i just dont really want another bl on my truck, kinda sick of them so only being able to stuff 33's just dont seem worth it when i can put 285's on it stock.........

best picture i can find but height wise its nearly the same... i was thinking i had a better picture somewhere.

its all on the location of the torsion bolt.

most people when they lift their truck they have already cranked the tbars. Superlift says 3-4" of lift... that is the torsion bars at stock height.

You should be able to crank the tbars some and get 5-6" of lift.

I'd love to, but I want to put that money into the samurai right now. For the amount of money I would spend on new wheels, tires, lift, and driveshaft, I could completely build my D44s with gears, lockers, chromos, and new bearings and seals throughout. I could also probably score some gently-used 36s with wheels and get a good start on some new suspension! Plus, if the ranger's going to be towing, a lift and bigger tires would be going a step in the wrong direction...

Boy I sure do miss that look though

Stop putting ideas in my head! Haha if I had my 'druthers, I'd solid axle it with a D30 and the same suspension setup that zabeard used, put it on 33s, and call it done.

Will 35s fit with the superlift alright? I know most people go with a body lift too, It just sure seems like they would fit

I wouldn't do it. The superlift is designed for 33s, and it fits that bill just about perfectly.

And zach, "If I had my 'druthers" is a saying... like "I'd rather." If you say it like the good ol' boys, it sounds like "i'd ruther." Smush it together and that's where " 'druthers" comes from.

Here's mine

Here's some of my truck:

3in Body Lift with a t-bar crank, and a 3in block setup, tire setup was a 33x12.50x15 Super Swamper bias, on a 15x8.5

Superlift pending:

Superlift, 3in body lift, and 33in tsl's

And for comparison here's a 33 vs a 35

and 35's:

My truck (4in superlift, 3in b/l and 35's) next to Bad Karma (sas) and Matt's with a 3in body lift and RCD with 35 MTZ's, and if I remember right matt said my truck was a wee bit taller than him.....hehehehe

The main expense of a super lift kit is the front half. All they do for the back is give you a set of blocks.

You would have to find a used one and a owner willing to separate. The basic superlift kit rear comes with blocks, and you have to get the 8.8 U-bolt kit. Go with shackles and aals.
