f-150 leaf springs on a mazda b4000

hey id like to know if i can put some f-150 springs on a mazda b4000, id like to know if anybody has already done this, maybe some tips or things id need to know.

I would imagine they would be too long and too stiff but you could always remove a leaf to soften the ride and move the hangers to fit

chevy 63" leaves aka chevy 1/2 ton leaves is a common swap for rangers to improve weight handling and give lift to rangers. its a much easier swap and a lot more information on how to do it.

k thanks for the info, do you have any specs of size for the 1963 loeaf springs, or any other info for the swap

baaahahaha NEWB! not 1963 leaf... the "63" leaf is in inches. its the length from eyehole to eyehole on the leaf packs.. go to therangerstation.com and look in the Tech Library at 63" leaf swap and read up.. it will answer ALL of your questions!

You can do that or use Sport Trac leafs....if you do that you'll need to take out the stock block.

not bashing on you mang, but i think the OP is looking to improve his payload. (why he wants f150 1/2 ton leafs) so thats why i suggested the 63s out of the 1/2 ton chevy and not the expo/ST leafs...

Gotcha, I understand.....I thought maybe his were flattened out and just needed replacements.
