4wd converstion

Well sir, im not sure on the front suspension set up on those year 2wd rangers, but i did my 03 4x4conversion with junk yard parts. Your going to need a transmission (mine cost $300), transfer case (mine cost $120), new rear drive shaft ($16), front drive shaft (should be same as rear at a junk yard). My front knuckles and axle cost me around $400. But you will have a much different setup in the front than mine. As a ballpark estimate the cheapest id say you can get away with is around $1000-1300 with all the extra bolts and misc. items including tools you will need. Good luck!!
