T-bar question (not how to or why)
about a month ago i cranked my tbars and then i got chevy shackles and put them on. i went to crank the bars some more but the drivers side was all the way up. the passenger side stil had about and inch that i could crank it. why is this?
did u crank it all the way? because stock, the drivers side one is cranked more anyway to compensate for the "ranger lean" since all the weight is on the drivers side (battery, gas tank, ETC.)
just crank them both as much as possible you wont be able to tell a difference side to side..

Stock, the driver's side one is always cranked up more. If you cranked both sides the same amount of turns without looking/measuring them before cranking them up, thats why.

ranger lean. 99offroadrngr has it right. From the factory, the driver side bolt is deeper than the passenger side to make the truck level. Or just don't listen to us, do what HighrollerII said, it'll look tight as hell yo.
What you have done is called maxed the bars. Get new torsion bars to cure the saggy issue you've got. |
the passenger side bolt is longer IIRC also
Not on my '03. Both sides were the same length.
ive had my bars maxed for like a years lol still no sag. i got spare bars though so if they sag ill be good to go haha.
thats normal. mine have been maxed for almost two years no problems
Let me see you bounce right to left and let your Ranger lean
Let your Ranger lean, just let your Ranger lean Ay, get it right, two step and let your Ranger lean, let your Ranger lean Just let your Ranger lean Every time i hear about the "Ranger Lean" i think of the shoulder lean song....so here's our version |
