HELP! 4/5 guys....need help with little brother's shocks!!

Hey.

So we lowered my little brother truck about July or so using a DJM 4/5 kit....and we didn't have the shocks yet, so we ran the stockers. We got the Belltech Nitro 2's a few days later, and tried to install.......and here's what's wrong:

Front: Was missing the "T" to run the bolts through to bolt to the lower arm.

Rear: The sleeve to mount the upper is too small to fit over the stock bolt hanging out of the frame.

Guys......did he order the wrong set of shocks??

I'll get part #'s later......but here's pics of the front compaired to my bilsteins......

what year, I have a 4x4 TTB truck (I'm not sure if the 2wd year of my truck is the same or not) but if I was lower my truck those shocks would fit mine so I'm going to say you got the wrong ones.

thats the right one for the front. Tthere should have been a baggie in the box thats has a "T" in it. Also when I ran those shocks in the rear, i remove the metal sleave inside the bushing.

Also, 4x4/edge shocks ARE different then 2wd nonedge shocks (the fronts)

Oh...Scotty I know.....I just wanted to show what's supposed to be there....similar set up. The stockers mount in a similar way as the Torsion bar trucks.

DaGGer: OOPS...I kinda forgot to mention that....it's an 01.

I got part numbers!....

Belltech Nitro Drop 2 Shocks....Front: 8013 Rear: 8014

I went out and grabbed the boxes and shocks in those boxes....there's nothing but a shock, padding in the truck, and a little paper ad thingy.

acctually installing the same drop kit on my truck. I went with the DJM CalMax Shox for the front and Toxic Shox for the rear. They came with all the doo dads and harware to fit either I beam or a-arm. Question though, how much travel is left on the rear? I'm still waiting for the front springs, which are back ordered.

honestly havn't jacked it up since the drop, except to throw on the shocks and throw on the 17's.....so ihave no clue on rear. But it's got plenty of travel for a small load and regualar bumps andstuff driving down the road.
