thinking about a bodylift

Well i'm planning to lift my truck soon and i'm thinking of doing a bodylift. I dont do much offroading and i'd rather not spend 700+ to lift it. So i'm thinking the body lift is the best way for me to go. Any thoughts on it?

i would rather see you do a spindle lift. since your 2wd.

are you wantin to redo your exhaust too? what about your hitch? front tow hooks?

just a few things to think about.

spindle lift you would have to worry about those items.

oh your truck in only 2wd? I though it was a 4x4, if so then i agree do the spindle lift so you dont have to deal with all the problems zach said

I say spindle lift, you will be a lot more happy with that. With a body lift you will need to make some gap gaurds to make your truck not look funny. You can always get some used spindles from someone on here and not spend as much money.

I loved my BL, never had any problems with it. Mine never cost $700 in the end, maybe $300 and thats all, even after my exhaust was redone.

i know how it is being on a budget... i considered the same but am going to put a suspension lift because i plan to off-road a good bit. However, you said you don't do much offroading so... a body lift will get you bigger tires and it sounds like thats all your really looking for.

I offroaded a good bit, beat my truck to death. So people saying you can't offroad hard with a BL are full of $hit. Go with a GL, there is nothing wrong with it.

this question doesnt really need to be asked anymore. its been beaten to death way to many times.

do what you want, your truck, your money, your opinion is what matters.

that being said, do the bodylift. like you said, you dont offraod much, and really only want the look and tires, so do it.

had mine on for a year with no probs. and i beat it hard.

Your truck your money. I'd personally recommend a Spindle Lift over a BL For a 4x2.
