Best shocks after lift kit?

i have an 08 2wd with 3" spindles and 2" shackles. right now i have the stock shocks but i want to upgrade to something that is good off road and on road. I've heard bilsteins are good and I've heard ranchos are alright. i don't have a ton of money and would to keep this somewhat cheap. any ideas?

If you can afford em', I've always been pointed in the direction of the Bilstein 5100 series.

People have also told me to look into the Pro Comp ES9000 series.

I personally haven't looked into the Rancho's, but it seems like enough people run them to at least check into them and they'd save you some money over the Bilsteins.

Shocks are super easy to install on Rangers as well.

You installing them yourself to save some cash?

Cost me under $350 for bilsteins all around. 4600 front and 5100 for an F250 in the back for extended length. Well worth it!

i noticed that after i put my shackles on the 2" setting my shocks are pretty much completely maxed out so maybe the f250 bilsteins in the back will work better

I think they're like 4" longer when fully extended or so.

If you haven't gotten shocks yet check out eshocks.Com bilstein are good. I'd look at Fox emulsion shocks.
