leaf springs

Okay, so I'm looking to get new leaf springs for my 99 2wd ext cab. I've looked on the door and the spring code is CK. I was wondering if anyone could explain what that meant and if the code applied to leaf springs and front coils or only the leaf springs. If it helps, the springs I have now, have the top leaf that connect to the shackles, a middle leaf and a bottom shorter leaf. I'm assuming thats the 2/1 style?? Any feedback would be much appreciated

That spring code means you have the softest coils up front and the middle of the road leaf packs. (There were three leaf packs offered)

So if I got a 4 pack leaf instead of a 3 would it be okay? I figure it'll probably be a little stiffer ride but it'll give me more carrying capacity. Correct?

Yes, it will be fine.

Ride might be a little stiffer ( these trucks don't ride the best to begin with, so you probably won't even notice) and yes it will handle weight a little better.
