Need Help Quick!!

I have a 99 4wd xlt and am in the middle of having an RCD lift installed. Stupid me did not realize the kit is not compatible with the pulse lock hubs. My question: If I do the Pulse Vacuum HUb Mod to make them in essence live axels, will I be able to run the RCD assuming I cap the vacuum lines? Is there any disadvantage to having live axels? Please help. Thanks.

I think that it will not work with the RCD kit is because there is some spindle/vacuum line conflicts. So i'm sure if you start to assemble it you will see where they hit and i'm sure you can cut the line down and then cap it off.

The kit does not have the fitting /line for the vacuum hubs. The hubs are the same aside from that. I talked with the suspension guys that are doing it for me and they guessed that it would solve the problem. The only problem I forsee is increased wear on the diff, and wearing out the driveshaft. The shop is going to build me a HD front shaft to replace it. Ugh, it's going to be a long weekend. Thanks for the help.

yes if you lift the front end of any of these IFS trucks you need a new drive shaft thus the reason why Superlift has one for theres

What are the disadvantages of having the "live axle"? Am I going to have accelerated diff wear? I guess the next step down the road would be installing manual locking hubs. I just never liked having to get out and lock them on my old Bronco. I guess you have to pay to play.
