lol. i went down to Highrollerii for a day and got his ranger on wheels! did something similar to that another day and the right parts he would have been set!

Honestly Zach, when it's time, I might consider paying your flight to help me out. lol

if you have nearly all the parts, the frame of the truck clean, and the axle rebuilt it wouldnt take more than a day or two to finish up.

and when i mean parts i mean just parts nothing assembled. (links and such)

I am not interested in helping with a leaf spring setup. LOL sorry

It does rain, but most of the time, I find it enjoyable... I love the rain...

Never really gets hot or uncomfortable here either... Rain keeps my allergies down... Which are out in full fleet right now due to lack of rain lol

oh and air shocks being cheaper are a bad idea they unload like a mofo
they blow the seals faily easy there fore being useless iv seen it happen lots of times plus the get shock fade really quick

I've heard mixed things about airshocks.

Hammers is on my todo list, believe me.. after a built 60 front and ballistic 9 rear. Zach doesnt like intentional body damage so i wouldn't hold your breath for him :fing26:

Yea airshocks rely on nitrogen pressure to hold up the truck so they have the tendancy to unload real bad. I used to have a video of a 3 linked explorer doing some hilarious "wheelies" in a parking lot with airshocks.

i dont deny they may unload real bad. but I've heard mixed things about the fade.... buttt the few buggies I've seen and rode in didn't seem to have an issue with fade.

Aight Mr. Beard... From another thread you mentioned linking the front... and it really has me wanting to do it to my ranger to finally MAYBE get this BISH on the road....


SO... say I wanted to 3-link my 95ranger.... High pinion D44... BUT, what if I didn't want to go coilovers or airshocks... The springs I have now work AWESOME, can I go from a radius arm setup to a 3-link and still use the same coils, I realize the coil mount will probably have to be reworked.... How much $$ do you see it costing to go from a radius arm setup to swapping in a 3-link set up?? I have a feeling most of my problem is my trac bar, so do 3-links require a trac bar... if so I guess that's more $$ too...

What type of radius arm setup do you have? Y link (jeep style) or Ford radius arm? You can use your same coils. a 3 link would need a panhard bar, there are styles that do fit that dont need one but on the front end if you still have a drag link you wouldnt want to run one of those anyways. So yes you still need a panhard bar. The only thing you would need to add would be the 3 links to locate the axle. two lowers and an upper.

Sorry Ford Radius arm... all stock stuff per say... yea it's relatively 'easy' and the parts to do it aren't expensive.... 300 ish on the joints, some tube, and link mounts... but gosh at the labor charges for shops to do the stuff :puppy_dog

Chris why not try to make a new panhard bar? you need to do that anyway whether its a 3 link or a radius arm setup.

Actually need to start the truck up today to mow around it so I will snag some pictures... i'm either gonna have to hack/rebuild the engine crossmember, or I will have to do a serious bent bar set up! And I'm not sure my lil 110v welder will be strong nuff!
