99 ranger drop questions 2.5

hey,

I hope you can give me some pointers on what I have ahead of me. I have big dreams for my ranger. I am going to put a 5.0 mustang engine and tranny into my truck. gonna take a while to round up all the parts i need...soo probably gonna be a while. so im gonna be getting a beater car to run around for a while. Before I do this i wanna do some suspension mods. I now have 16" wheels with low pro tires. (pretty small) I need to know how low you think i should go. what kind of shocks should i get? what parts do i need? when i put the 5.0 in i wanna put wide 18s in the back and probably 17s in the front. just wanna know what i should do for the suspension. thanks. Dave
