More lift!

I put 2" skyjacker leveling springs on my truck but it's still not high enough or level. So I decided to go with a 2" spacer on under the 2" spring. I picked up a polyurethane piece with a bolt extender. My only concern is my pitman arm. I'm going to put it all together and send it for an alignment and see what happens. I was hoping one of you tried this before and could give me some input. I'm getting a set of BFG Mud Terrain 32/11.5/15's and I want to make sure they fit nice. I already installed shocks for a 2.5"-4" lift so they will be perfect.

your truck will not align after that much lift with out dropping the radii's arm brackets and I beam brackets.. your tires will always be like this \ / and you will wear out tires fast.. I have 32x11.5x15 on 15x7 alcoa's on my truck right now... with just coil spacers if you want more lift its time to get a body lift or suspension..

how much will those brackets cost? I have alignment cams already I'll just have to see if they do the trick. My alignment guy is real good lets see what he can do.

its cheaper in the long run to just buy a 4" lift kit then trying to piece together one.. a 4" is like $450... and then you can easily fit 33's

screw that, i already bought springs and shocks. i just need the brackets.

the brackets are close to 300 if you buy each one. plus you need a pitman arm, which can be another 50-80 at least. sell what you got, then buy the full lift, much easier way to go. sucks, but it is.

if we do, im pretty sure we'd lose him as a member, because he'll hate everyone for telling him what he eventually found out on his own.

I don't have the money to spend $600 on tires then $450 on suspension. I was hoping to just spend the $65 and get another 2" out of it. I just wont install the blocks. I already have 265/75/16s and they are close to 32's so I don't think I will have a problem putting them on anyway. I just want my truck to look level, but oh well. I'm not arguing that you are all right I'm just saying "screw that" I'm not forking out that much money into my truck. I already have a money pit vehicle on my hands plus two children, a wife and a 85 y/o grand mother I support so it's just not in the cards right now. Its going to take me a month of putting money a side just to get new tires on her.

I ran 265x75x16 on my truck with 2" lift block then switched over to 32x11.5x15 both fit fine.. no problems...

that's cool. I put one of the 32/11.50/15" tires off my moms wrangler next to my tire and it was darn near exact height just wider. So I should be fine, thanks for the input I appreciate it.

yes here is my old 265 on the left and my new 32x11.5 on right... both mounted to a 7" rim...

That makes me not even want to go with a new tire then. I have Good Year RT/S tires that are still good. I should just stick with them I guess.

I hear everyone saying the same thing BFG A/T's for off road on here. I'm leaning towards M/T's but I'm wondering if it's even worth it. I have over 50,000 miles on these RT/S's and they still a lot of tread. But I want something that looks more aggressive. I want a tire taller than a 32/11.50 or 265/75 but they all seem to go up to 12.50 if I go any taller so I might just get 265/75's again instead of paying an arm and a leg for 32's. Any suggestions? I don't want to pay more than $120 a tire.

lol redneck you seem to have the answer for everything! i cant say they are all right thoe lol j/k but yea...ERIC listen to redneck and get some bfgs!...although i got goodyears at/s which are ok i only got them cuz i got all 4 for the price of 1 bfg lol..but if i had the money i would get rid of them and get bfg..

ya, look into lift kits. to do it properly buying parts seperatly it will be more just for the front than what you could pay for a 4" full lift

I plan on getting BFG's I said that in my first post on my thread. Just not A/T's I'm going with M/T's.

Well I just canceled my order for the lift bushings. I have a LOT of travel now so I'll be ok till I do it the RIGHT way and get a full kit. Maybe next year after I get a few other things done. I really want some chunky tires so I'll do that first. Thanks for all the help fellas!

Yeah I understand I would need the pitman arm, sway bar extender and the brackets, and at that point I rather have full 4" lift springs instead of 2" springs with 2" block so I get a lot of travel. I might be going that way for next year.
