front end allignment

I was going to crank my T-Bars today but all the allignment shops and technicians are either closed or on vacation. Due you guys think that it would hurt the truck if i cranked them today and got it alligned next week.

It took me a solid month to do it and surprisingly I still had tread left.

Graniteguy-hoping to ruin the tires so he could get taller ones.

Crap man, I cranked my t-bars up completely about 1 year ago today. Running on brand new 31's Goodyear Wrangler Mt/Rs and still haven't gotten an alignment. Went in and they said I needed a Camber Kit, So this weekend, after 1 year! im getting the Camber Kit and the alignment along with 33's.

I'll have to dig up my alignment pics, cause mine was way out of whack. I could feel it, and I could see the tire wear before I had it done. the edges were all chewed up. Afterwards, it took a while to get the truck to feel right until the tread wore back even. The truck felt fine before the crank and it only had maybe 10,000 miles on it.

You may be right in what you stated. I know you have to drive around a little to get the truck settled into it's new height. This may be a factor you don't get at the alignment shop. The amount you lift it could be a factor also. It was pretty self-evident very soon after I did mine. My brother came over and pointed out the tires to me. It was bad. I would think that anyone that knows their truck will feel the difference if there is one.

Yup, most trucks are a lil different. You should spring for the body lift though. Its pretty cheap($150 to my door in AK months and months ago) and doesn't screw with that.

I have had my tbars cranked for about 7 months and still havent gotten an alignment, however I am about to take it in to get checked out. Not sure if it needs it but wanna be safe so I dont ruin my tires.
