Torsion Bar?

Is one torsion bar longer than the other on the 1998-2010 Ford Rangers?
I just picked up a set of #1 bars from a 2009 Ranger from a junkyard and one bar is slightly longer than the other by an 1 inch or so. Is this normal?

Strange. It is probably a tiny bit stronger or weaker and should be reinstalled on the side ofthe vehicle you took it off of.

It works off the principle that everyone is fatasses so they make the suspension on the drivers side of the vehicle a little bit stronger to carry an extra 200+ lbs.
