Looking for new shocks... Need your help.

Hey,
I am getting ready to get new tires and while I am at it I was going to get some new shocks. I hear the name Rancho thrown around a lot. Does everybody like these? If so what Rancho should I go with. I do about 75% on, 25% off road driving. I dont want to spend a whole lot of money, but still want a decent shock that will perform better than the stock ones. I was looking at the Rancho RS5000. Its the cheapest shock out of there line. Are these crap, or a good buy for the buck?
Thanks,
Chris

Which Pro Comp series do you reccomend, the 1000's, 3000's, or 9000's?

it depends, the price difference on each is only like $3. they get stiffer as you move up. i had 9000s on mine, and it was pretty stuff, but it handled well and did well off road. if i had a choice again, id probably use the 3000s just for a smoother ride. but if you can handle the harsh ride, then the 9000s will perform better
