torsion bar comparison...check it out...

torsion bar comparison
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok. The purpose of this thread is to identify what rating your torsion bars are, how much clearance you gained from cranking them, and if you jacked the front up or left it on the ground. I thought of this because I want to be able to compare other peoples tbars to mine. Its always made me wonder how some people have gotten so much clearance out of theres when others dont seem to see that much of a difference. It would also be a good idea to post your year, and other truck specs...
Thanks alot and I appreciate it.

I gained about 1.5" of clearance, on ground, and rating is: F (i think)...

I now have b-bars. I had f-bars and I had ragged them to the point offroading them hard that they were settling back to stock level, even though fully cranked!

The b-bars are holding up well, even with 35's. I have Doetsch spindles with about 2" of crank added.

I have the sorry F bars on my 04 2wd edge reg cab. cranked the driver side all the way and got 1.5 inch, cranked pass. side half way for same. curious if better bars would let me lift a little farther and if i should look foward to the truck lowering itself in the near future? (I do virtually no off roading other than dragging my 4-wheeler along some trail to get back into the woods)

I have B bars, and they are cranked up 1.5". However, I think they are starting to sag just a tiny bit.
