removing sway bar for lift?
i have a foctory sway bar in the rear, and for my rear lift i'm planin a 3" block and 2" shackle setup. the sway bar is attached to the frame and then the axle....am i going to have to remove this for my lift? i wouldnt think it has that much play in it.
what are going to be the pro's/con's for removing the sway bar?
thanks n3els! haha

I guess I'm just used to it. I get questions all the time (several a week at least) by email from people who aren't even ON the forums. Usually from seeing my CarDomain site. Another fellow from Club Ranger 4x4 in Argentina just emailed me recently with questions about the overhead console. One of the guys down there bought one of my keypad entry systems a year or so ago and has literally the only one in Argentina -- they don't even have Explorer systems like that down there.
Usually, if someone asks me a question of general interest, I suggest they post it even if I answer it by PM, then I post my answer.

well for my lift i removed both of my swaybars. i removed the rear one for the lift in the rear and i didnt notice a difference. i just recently removed my front swaybar and there is a noticible difference in ride. more body roll. if you just drive carfully you wont have a problem. but the rear has to come off i think. and depends on if your going to run larger tires, the only reason i took my front off was b/c it was eating my tires up.
