torsion bars on a 02 ranger

i have decided to tighten up my torsion bars on my 02 ford ranger edge to make the front sit even with rear, but when i took a look at them i could not find any bolts to tighten , there is a shield over the torsion bars which i took off, but i still didn't see any bolts i might just be looking in the wrong spot or might just be stupid , either way i need help

the bolt should be in the hole of the cover. you cant miss it. its a 13mm bolt look in the hole in the cover and the first bolt you see is the bolt you want to crank

kk let me try that, but does anyone have a or can take a picture of the bolt that i need to tighten?

torsion bar

Yeah he's all right. There is kind of a hole for you to fit the socket in. I had mine done at hibdon tires and they could only get half an inch. But make sure you get a wheel aline. after u do it.

do i HAVE to have the truck jacked up for my torsion bars to raise the front? or does it even matter?

Yes, you want to jack the truck up or you might snap the bolts.
