First off... welcome to R-F. Second... If you want to max out your bars you can get around 2 1/2". If i was you I would get #1 bars and crank them and then get an AAL or a shackle. (if you do an AAL your ride will be alittle stiffer. #1 bars will give you a harder ride as well.) and then go with 285/75's. Those are 32.??x11.?? and you shouldnt have any major rubbing with those. like said above its really all about backspacing. I think i covered everything he was asking. Right?

There's two ways you could go about getting rid of the mud flaps, One way is to take the ones you have now and trim them down. Another way would be to buy another set of flares. You would need the 01-05 style flares. That way is more complicated but looks better IMO.

like i said ^^^ i ran some 285/75/16 they worked only rubbed when you turned the wheel from lock to lock on the inside against the sway bar and if i flexed the truck till the rear tire came off the ground the stuffed side would rub on the fender flares at the bottom of the wheel wells. pics are of the truck with the 33's

No, its been said twice in this thread any Edge 2wd or 4wd has the same exact suspension. I run 32s because I didn't want to crank my bars and I got a great deal on these tires. I don't need personal experience to know what will work and what won't, thats what the forum is for.

What i meant is that i had 265/75-r16's and i can show you pictures of stuffing fenders so tight i ripped chunks of tread off so if those did that how will a one inch bigger diameter tire not rub at all in respose to the two that claim a 33 will fit they are not offroading a lot if it does not

Man Stone this is like perfect for you, I can't believe your not eating this up.
This is the last time I'm going to say this. The original poster asked if 33s will fit. Yes they will fit. Yes you might have to adjust your driving some so you don't rub. Pick your poison.
Btw look at thesoundmaster, he wheels the **** out of his truck with 33x12.5 and stock suspension.

i have 265 75 16s right now and theres plenty of room. damnit i may have to instal my 33s on my classic 2s soon to show that they fit fine except at full lock which i don't even care about. and for sharp turns, if you know they would rub why not just slow down to prevent it? or not crank the wheel all the way?
ill try to get my tires on tomorrow if i have time
Didn't ask what would fit w/o rubbing asked if 33's would rub.
Poor guy just joined and already sees arguments one of his first threads lol. Don't worry about it we just "talkin" haha
