Icon5 balljoint change difficulty

My ball joints are shot top and bottom along with the sway bay bushings. 99 2wdford

Can I change them my self without to much hassle

lots of hassle you need ball joint tool and pickell,,, hub and rotor are heavy,, snap ring is very tight fit also tie rod ends broken loose,,,and alignment will be off. time to do calipers at same time and adjust wheel bearings ,,good part of a day,,,,,,,,

wrong, ball joints on ur truck wont be bad, no cv axle to deal with. the upper is really easy, have to replace as a whole arm unless its already been replaced. upper u need to remove 15mm pinch bolt hammer out of the spindle. then just gotta undo the control arm bolts and out it comes. for your lower, i thnk take breaks off, take nut off lower ball joint detach from spindle and swing out of way. then remove the ball joint. can either hammer or ball joint press, i recomend the press will be much easier.
