I think we are both talking about the lower cross member. The cross member is a welded in piece of the frame. You have to take that out in order to do a SAS or your axel would hit it when the suspenion compressed.

What do you do for upper spring buckets ?

to swap the TTb in on a 98-up you would need to swap the engine crossmember from a TTB truck in, bolt the coil buckets on outside the frame, and bolt the steering gearbox in and hook up the steering. after getting rid of all the ifs stuff of course includeing the rack and pinion. also the frame holes probly arent there anymore because they changed the very front of the frame ever so slightly for the 98-ups.

Ok removing the lower cross member is hella easy though. A cutting torch and two hands is enough skill to remove taht. For hte upper spring buckets you would probably use f150 coil buckets. Some people make them themselves also.

Get griggs to SAS your truck. Jus throw lotsa money and two axles at him. How tall is your truck by the way ben? Like how does it compare to cars/other trucks on the road?

Currently I sit level with most full sizes and am door to door with any stock F250. I look down to any cars.
