uh ohh, t-bar bolt broke.

well, I took out my lift blocks I added today, as well as lowered my t-bars back down to stock, however when bring the bolts back out had one of the heads ring off. :headache: . Is it ok to run on? It would seem to me because of the threads are still plenty inside of the plate thing, but wanted a second opinion. also, how would I go about fixing it? besides a straight axle, cause I dont have the money right now, lol.

You rounded off the bolt head? You'll be fine. You can get a replacement bolt even if you want.

Ranger1 02-03-2007 05:54 PM

I have my stock ones if you want to buy them.

No I think bolt head BROKE OFF

Gearhead61 02-03-2007 06:24 PM

Damn! that's a big bolt! I can't imagine breaking it off! There are several ways to get it out though, if that is the case.

UNCCRang49 02-04-2007 05:03 PM

ya, lol, I broke the head of the bolt off, dont know how I managed as I was using a socket and breaker bar, and lots of pb blast, but it did. If it will be fine, im just going to leave it. The truck is leveled back out, so no adjustment will need to be made anytime soon. i plan on a sas in the next 2 years anyway.
