4X2 shocks

forgot to add this in my earlier post.
since I am gonna be replacing ball joints, this gives me an opportunity to get rid of the crappy monroe sensa-trac shocks that I have been saddled with for 4-5 years. crappy in that they are way too stiff. mostly surface street driving here, no offroading, sometimes load it over the limit (!)
any suggestions?

the ones with the yellow tube and blue boot... dont have first hand experience but ive yet to hear any negatives from people that run them on a daily driver...

If you want a good ride...go with any mono-tube shock. Monroe's, Gabreil's and even Rancho shocks are a twin-tube design, thus the oil and gas come together creating shock fade. Plus they are made from exhaust tubing...no joke. I suggest KYB Gas-A-Just mono-tube shocks.
