chevy swap delima

does the front hanger change on the rangers from year to year? i was under the truck lookin the other day and it looks like the front hanger on mine would hit the body mount when it was relocated. it that a problem on others? or will it not hit it?

your supposed to move the rear mounting holes to the old front holes are you not? if so, then it looks like the hanger will be on the bodymount bracket.

Mine is pretty far from that rear cab mount.. i think yours is so close because you have a reg cab and a reg bed...

You shouldn't have a problem. I have Chevy 63" leafs on my reg cab short wheel base 96 and I had no problems.

You may have another problem: some earlier Rangers have narrower springs -- I take it you mave matched the widths up?
