bad steering vibration at a stop

This morning i put my truck in neutral to roll it down the driveway without starting it. Then i turned the wheel, that was very stiff, but i didnt think anything of it. Now when in at a stop especially the steering and wheels shake pretty bad.... whats the deal, was absolutely fine yesterday.

Trying to use power steering with no power? That would explain the stiffness

I wonder if turning with no power may have strained the bushings and caused some play in it. I have personally never had this problem so I can only speculate.

Does it feel more loose when turning?

Not loose just like it was but now it has a violent vibration as well as the front wheels.

I have popped steering hoses loose turning on it hard like that. Check your hoses and stuff. Maybe air got in there.

Check the fluid level, when you crank the wheel with the truck not running it will force the fluid out the cap, I bet if you pop the hood you will see the cap popped off the reservoir and fluid all over your engine compartment.

Ok, you may still have worked some air into the system, how much have you driven it since this started?
